Pokémon Go is hosting its huge Anniversary event, adding more Pokémon with party hats and Timed Research that can only be completed during the event. Our Pokémon Go Anniversary event guide lists out the Timed Research steps, spawns, and other bonuses.
From July 6-12, tons of Pokémon will be spawning, but notably the regional Pokémon Pansear, which is usually only obtainable in Europe, will appear in Timed Research, in the wild, and in raids. If you don’t have a Pansear yet, this is your chance to grab one.
Pokémon Go Anniversary Timed Research
Rewards: Pikachu (birthday hat) encounter, 1 Poffin
Rewards: Charmander (birthday hat) encounter, 1 Poffin
Rewards: Pansear encounter , 1 Unova Stone
Rewards: Gible encounter, 1 Premium Raid Pass
Rewards: Snorlax encounter, 1 Rocket Radar
Rewards: Wash Rotom encounter, 2,500 XP
Pokémon Go Anniversary event spawns
The birthday party hat variants of Charmeleon, Charizard, Charmander, and Pikachu, can all appear Shiny if you’re lucky as well.
