Pokémon Go’s “Fashion Week” event is back, running from Sept. 27 until Oct. 3, 2022. Last year, the event introduced Furfrou, the poodle Pokémon, but this time it unveils Furfrou’s Shiny form, brings back some Pokémon in fancy outfits, and adds Mareanie to the game.

Fashion Week 2022 Timed Research and rewards
These work a little bit differently from normal Timed Research Tasks. After each set, you’ll battle an NPC trainer. After beating them, it will automatically fulfill the next step, and then you’ll get a Pokémon encounter as a reward.

Reward: Diglett (fashionable hat) encounter
Reward: Cool Challenger battle
Reward: Absol (fashionable sunglasses) encounter, 10,000 Stardust
Increased Pokémon spawns for Fashion Week 2022
These accessory-wearing variations of Diglett, Absol, and Toxicroak are also available Shiny for the first time.
The meat of this event, however, is Furfrou’s Shiny release.
